General Information -

 Xaloc
Resort is a small eco-tourism hotel, located on a white sandy beach
on the paradise island of Holbox. The hotel is build combining local
architecture of the region based on palapas or palm leaf roofs in
a rustic style with a warm and cozy design, excellent installations
and fine details. The hotel consists of 18 rooms, 2 swimming pools,
a restaurant, a reading or gaming room, a small arts craft shop,
and a beach bar. The hotel is managed by its owner, Juan Felix Sánchez,
spanish from Mallorca that found in this place an opportunity to
get realized his dream. He and his team work will make sure that
your experience in Xaloc will be unforgettably beautiful.
 The
hotel offers the following services: restaurant, organization of
tours and excursions, massages, laundry services, strong box, telephone
and fax at the reception, golf car taxi, rental of bicycles, kayaks
and golf cars.

 Xaloc
Resort consists of 18 romantic rooms distributed in 2 groups of
9 rooms built around their swimming pool. Each of the rooms is a
bungalow or an individual “palapa”, round with a wooden terrace
with the traditional Yucatecan hammocks where your siesta feels
just great.
In each room there is a king-size bed or 2 double beds, covered
by a big mosquito canopy, ceiling ventilator and a spacey bathroom
with two sinks, shower and water toilet. |

Activities -

 The
ones of you who come to this precious island looking for relaxation,
can really disconnect themselves from the big city: walk for hours
along the beach pick up shells enjoy a siesta in a hammock, enjoy
a revitalizing MASSAGE or just drop on one of the beach-beds and
let the sun warm you.
 For
the nature lovers – what better spot is there than Holbox? Here
you can observe different species of birds such as herons, pelicans,
flamingos, spoon bills. Visit our chapter of EXCURSIONS and come
to make a boat trip, in kayak through the mangroves, join us on
a crocodile tour at night and don’t miss the sensation to swim with
the whale sharks or walk along the virgin beach at night to watch
the egg laying marine turtle.
And to satisfy all of your wishes we do not forget the most sportive
ones of you: we have FISHING, tours, snorkel, kayak and the novelty
of Holbox: KITE-SURF. |

Restaurant Maja´che -
|

|
 In
the restaurant Maja´che our chef will delight your taste with exquisite
Mexican and Yucatecan dishes. Holbox is a village that traditionally
has dedicated its activities to fishing, that’s why the fish and
lobster menus are some of the most exquisite ones, and without any
doubt fresh from the sea – just try them!
If you would like to change a little bit your menu, we offer you
fine cuts of meat, as well as pasta and vegetarian dishes.
The restaurant a la carte is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
and for the ones who allow us to organize their tastes, apart from
the menu, we spoil you with half pension, this means your stay includes
dinner. The dinner consists of a daily varying menue including four
pltes: entré, cream or soup, main dish (option to choose meat or
fish) and dessert.
